  • John Osborn will play in San Francisco and New York next weekend. The UK-born, Berlin-based selector is a DJ's DJ, known for his skill behind the decks rather than his production hand. Not that he's any slouch on the latter front—after launching his TANSTAAFL label with October in 2011, he's been making his own tracks to much acclaim. The dynamic duo also just launched a new offshoot of TANSTAAFL called PLANETS, meant to showcase the work of other artists. Osborn's trips out of Europe are pretty rare, which makes even this weekend-long trip notable. First up, he'll play a Movement pre-party in San Francisco for As You Like It, alongside DVS1 and Keith Kemp. That one'll happen at Monarch. The next evening he'll play another Movement-themed event, this time at Output in New York. He'll be manning the decks in the Panther Room all by himself, while Ben Sims, Robert Hood and DVS1 (again) take over the main club. Check out a recent mix from Osborn for modyfier below.
Tickets for San Francisco and New York are available on RA.
