The minds behind the UK club night and label, Timothy J Fairplay and Scott Fraser, will head to the US this weekend.
Crimes Of The Future's Scott Fraser and Timothy J Fairplay will travel across the pond for a quick US tour starting this weekend.
Crimes was originally started as party in Glasgow in 2012 as a place for weirder house and techno sounds (as well as a whole lot of stuff in between), before expanding into London at Plastic People. The duo capped off last year's growth spurt with the new label, which has so far featured Antoine Rouge as well as Elizabeth Merrick-Jefferson. Number three—an EP from Black Merlin—has just been announced for June, while the fourth will come from disco head Antoni Maiovvi.
The humble jaunt will bring both Fairplay and Fraser to American shores, starting tomorrow in New York for a Bunker night, where they'll play Output's Panther Room alongside Mike Servito. The duo will appear on Beats In Space radio on the following Tuesday, April 29th, and then fly west to California for two final gigs. On Friday they'll touch down in San Francisco to headline No Way Back at 1192 Folsom, hitting Mount Analog in LA the next night for the seventh Nuit Noire, also featuring Raudive and Silent Servant.
