Sven Väth, Mathew Jonson and DVS1 will also play the Portuguese event this summer.
The first edition of Festival Forte will take place at Portugal's Castle of Montemor-o-Velho from August 28th through 30th.
A collaboration between Lisbon outfit Soniculture and Porto club Gare, the new three-day event will showcase a slew of local and international techno acts. Sven Väth, Ben Klock, Rødhåd and Oscar Mulero will all grace the decks, while DVS1, Gaiser and Mathew Jonson VS. Minilogue make up the live contingent. Michael Mayer will be on hand for fans of smoother sounds, while a run of local acts (Expander & Thinkfreak, Freshkitos, João Maria) complete the bill.
Located between Porto and Lisbon in the central city of Coimbra, the castle is "considered a natural treasure, and held by many as the birthplace of modern dance music in Portugal", according to a press release. For a closer look at the venue, check out the video below:
