- The Analogue Cops will release the first full-length under the alias in April.
The Analogue Cops will release an album as Xenogears on April 21st.
The Italian duo, Lucretio and Marieu, heralded the return of their old Xenogears alias back in December with a new single, which RA's Angus Finlayson described as more Detroit-influenced, marked by "relentless, conga-heavy rhythms." Now they've made good on their promise of an album with Lost Artemis, also the Cops' first LP since last year's Heavy Hands. Like that one, Artemis will land on their Restoration label. According to Juno Plus, the record exhibits "”strong fascination for hi-tech synthesizers and rusted vintage gears, a fast pace, and a minimal approach to live mixing." It'll feature gust spots from Objekt and No Mad Ronin, plus a new mix of the previously released "Multiverse" single.
