- Shindig will celebrate 22 years with a 15-hour bash featuring the likes of Loco Dice, Sven Väth and Nina Kraviz. The party has been a mainstay of the North East's clubbing scene for more than two decades, regularly putting together big-name lineups in Newcastle. Their birthday event will go down during the May Bank Holiday weekend, kicking off at 1 PM on Sunday the 4th and running through until 4 AM the following morning. In addition to Väth and Kraviz, the extensive daytime programme features the likes of Catz 'N Dogz, Guti, Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones, Marc Kinchen and The Martinez Brothers, with the Loop DJs Scott Bradford, Neil Bainbridge and Mark Lowry also set to spin. At night Loco Dice and Robert Dietz will get behind the decks. For now the location of the party is being kept under wraps.
