- The two artists have teamed up for an album on Editions Mego.
Atom TM and Marc Behrens will release a collaborative album called Bauteile through Editions Mego next month.
According to the Editions Mego website, the music on Bauteile "spans effectively two centuries of musical development," with recordings made between 1987 and 2013 edited into one continuous production. Atom TM, real name Uwe Schmidt, and Behrens met "during the heyday of the German techno movement," and have collaborated occasionally ever since. The pair have performed live together as Bauteile a couple of times, including a show at last year's CTM festival in Berlin. In addition to the two producer's own contributions, the record contains violin from Carlos Zingaro. Bauteile will be released digitally and on CD.
