Nosaj Thing will also perform at the annual Victorian festival.
The first announcement for Melbourne Music Week 2013 has dropped, headed up by Pantha Du Prince.
Following on from last year's Where?House hub in an abandoned inner-city building, the festival's home base this time around will be The Residence, a pop-up venue at Birrarung Marr in Melbourne's CBD. From the opening bash on November 15th, The Residence will host nightly performances curated by a number of local promoters, labels and artists. Amongst the entertainment announced so far is the debut of Canyons' 100 Million Nights project with visual artist Daniel Boyd on November 21st, with local favourites Andras Fox and Roland Tings supporting, as well as an Espionage party on the 23rd with LA beatmakers Nosaj Thing and Jonwayne. The main announcement so far, however, is a show at the Melbourne Recital Centre on November 18th with Pantha Du Prince & The Bell Factory, a large-scale production which the German artist has been performing around the world now for two years.
The full programme for Melbourne Music Week 2013 will be released on October 3rd.
