Akufen will headline a night at TBA Brooklyn as Horror Inc. on Friday, September 13th.
The Montreal house producer has historically used the alias for his more dramatic and cinematic music, less minimal than what he makes under his chief pseudonym. After releasing just a few EPs over the years, Horror Inc. dropped its debut album on Perlon earlier this year. The record is a winding affair that touches on minimal house, jazz, downtempo and other genres, and was described by the label as "a very personal trip to the depths of Boo."
The NYC show is one of only a handful of Horror Inc. performances, and comes after an album launch party in Montreal and an appearance at London's fabric in July. Support will come from local Eddie Krilov and more yet to be announced.
