- The Bedrock founders are releasing a three-disc set of collaborative material in October, with jozif, Pig & Dan and more featuring.
John Digweed and Nick Muir have collaborated on a three-disc set called Versus, set for release on Bedrock Records this October.
The project apparently started small but grew into its current form over the course of a year: it was "a remix swap, then an extended EP, then out of nowhere... an album with many twists and turns," Digweed and Muir write. The pair ended up tweaking tracks from 12 of their current favories: jozif, Psycatron, Guy J and Pig & Dan all feature. The first CD features all of these reworks mixed together by Digweed, the second contains ten of them unmixed and the third features eight new originals from Digweed and Muir. In addition to the limited-edition CD release, which also features a 20-page booklet, Bedrock will release a triple-vinyl edition with 11 of the Versus cuts.
