  • The second I Am Not To Be Trusted party will go down on September 7th. The monthly series launched just a few weeks ago with Project 313, with a self-described mission to bring the best of Detroit techno to neighbouring college town Ann Arbor. The gigs take place at the Necto, a long-running club that used to host a Jeff Mills residency and (with only a few exceptions in recent years) doesn't host very many techno events these days. The series will return for its second instalment with Annie Hall, a Spanish DJ and producer who has released for labels like Semantica. She recently moved to Windsor, Ontario, and she's in the midst of preparing an EP due for release on Detroit Underground. She'll be supported by Detroit's Corbin Davis, another Detroit Underground associate and founder of the Blank Code label. Toronto's Catacomb & PaulinaG will also spin back-to-back, while local Max Berry will open the night. To get yourself in the mood, check out the mix for Inverted Audio that Hall did a few months ago.
