- The Greek duo will release their debut album through Cascine on September 17th.
Keep Shelly In Athens will release their first LP on September 17th.
The duo, who hail from (you guessed it) Athens, consist of producer RN? handling the instrumentals and Sarah P on vocals. They've since added two extra musicians to flesh out their sound for live performances. They make atmospheric dream-pop that recalls acts like Cocteau Twins, but skews more towards modern electronic acts like Neon Indian. They got their start on Forest Family and Planet Mu, and have released several EPs—including a split cassette with Disclosure—in the lead-up to At Home. (They were also recently remixed by Sasha for his third Involver album.) The record was apparently inspired by their experiences as a touring band, written as a sort of narrative to mimic the ebb and flow of travel.
