- The Seattle festival has announced the final wave of artists for its tenth anniversary in September.
- Decibel Festival has completed the lineup for its tenth edition, which takes place in Seattle from September 25th through 29th. Electronic music legend Moby (who will play a DJ set) is among the bigger names added, a list that also includes Nicolas Jaar (joined by Tarik Barri), Art Department, Diamond Version, Zola Jesus and trap titans Flosstradamus. The UK contingent gets a nice boost with all three Hessle Audio men—Ben UFO, Pangaea and Pearson Sound—with Ikonika, Vessel, Max Cooper, Mount Kimbie and Raime all pulled into the fold as well. Veterans Derrick Carter, Juan Atkins and Thomas Fehlmann are slated to play, while Evian Christ, The Haxan Cloak, Blondes and Pharmakon make up some of the fresher faces. As one of the West Coast's biggest dance music events (and our third favourite September festival), Decibel features 126 artists spread over multiple venues throughout Seatlle. Previously announced headliners include The Orb, Ben Klock, Peter Hook & The Light, Gold Panda, Speedy J, JETS and Zedd. Aside from the regular club nights, afterhours events and boat parties, there will be daytime conferences as well as evening Optical showcases that feature audiovisual performances from the likes of Nils Frahm and Hauschka. This year we'll also be holding our own RA showcase, taking place on Thursday September 26th at The Crocodile. We've got Werkdiscs boss Actress headlining that one, along with Brainfeeder's Lapalux and Dropping Gems associates Natasha Kmeto and Ghost Feet.
