Roto Fest has released details of this year's event, which will mark its eighth edition.
Also known as the Festival Internacional de Cultura Electrónica, the 12-hour party will take place in Plaza El Otorongo in the Ecuadorian city of Cuenca on Saturday, July 21st. The event is free and will run from 11 AM through midnight, with the music starting at midday. Fabio Giannelli will headline alongside Mexican duo Climbers and Germany's Alland Byallo. Franco Bianco, Alyosha Barreiro and a host of local DJs, including Lola Pink and George Levi, will also perform.
In addition to the festival, Roto Fest will host a series of free educational workshops and conferences, spread across July 15th through 19th. Located in Cuenca's Museum PumaPungo, there will be a limited availability of 30 spaces per day. For more information and a full programme of events, click here.
