  • Chicago's Naughty Bad Fun Collective will throw their next Industry Brunch this Sunday afternoon, to be headlined by globetrotting Detroit favorite Daniel Bell. NBFC will once again take over The Continental on Chicago Avenue, following last month's party with Move D that also served as the launch event for Sassmouth's new label god particle. For this one, which will double as a 40th birthday bash for NBFC's Ryan Kelly, they've got Bell slated for an extended set. Three pairs of Chicago DJs–Sassmouth and Phillip Stone, Antiphase and Kiddo, and Duke Shin and Merrick Brown (the minds behind the local Refract series)–complete the afternoon's program. For next month's party on Sunday, July 28th, NBFC has booked Pittsburgh's longtime analog aficionado Shawn Rudiman, who'll make his Chicago debut with a live hardware set. Taking turns on the decks at that one are Hugo Ball's Nathan Drew Larsen along with Max Jacobson, Savile and Sassmouth and Jason Patrick (the latter two going back-to-back). Like that first Industry Brunch at The Continental back in May, both of these parties will run from noon until 10 PM. The music will happen inside, and attendees will be able to hang out on the venue's patio. If you're hungry, get there early for brunch, which is included in the price of admission. Tickets are available here on RA.
