  • Pat Mahoney has revealed a new collaborative project with Run Roc Records' Dennis McNany called Museum of Love. The two artists have quite a lot of experience in dance music between them, and have been friends for over a decade. Mahoney is a key figure in the DFA stable, and a founding member of LCD Soundsystem as well as one half of duo Special Disco Version with that band's James Murphy—not to mention an accomplished DJ in his own right. McNany, on the other hand, is the head of Run Roc Records and produces under the Jee Day alias, releasing on imprints like DFA and Beats In Space. For their new band together, McNany handles the composition, with Mahoney on vocals. Their first release is a single called "Down South" which is out through DFA on June 18th, and precedes a full-length due out later this year. Tracklist 01. Down South DFA will release "Down South" on June 11th, 2013, with an album to follow later in the year.
