Tiefschwarz's two-disc Renaissance mix will come out on July 8th.
This will be the ninth edition in the Mix Collection series, and the fifth since it restarted in 2008 following a 12 year hiatus. Split into two discs, each CD will contain a different mix, exploring different sides of Tiefschwarz's DJ sound: "Musically this time we wanted to stay in the here and now-the slower and deeper mix on CD1 is an atmospheric journey- melodies, vocals and more abstract tracks help to create the vibe," the duo say. "The second mix is more club orientated. It's a hybrid between house and techno and shows a bit of what we love to play as DJs these days." Tracks from Tiefschwarz's own back catalogue sit alongside records from the likes of Mathew Jonson, DJ Koze, Tale Of Us and Kompakt chief Michael Mayer.
