  • Delsin will celebrate its 100th release with five EPs and a compilation. Strictly speaking, the label has already surpassed the 100 mark if you count reissues and its recent house-focused series. Still, they've chosen to celebrate reaching the 100DSR catalogue number with five various artist 12-inches. As well as being released separately, the EPs will be collated into a vinyl boxset (there will also be a CD version featuring all 15 tracks.) "With this compilation I tried to go back to the core of Delsin [and] showcase more soulful but still raw techno sounds from a selection of key artists who best represent the label," said label chief Marsel van der Wielen. "The tracks are all individual offerings but are tied together with the common themes of the label, and as a compilation will paint a nice overall picture." The first EP, 100DSR/VAR1, will arrive in June and features tracks from Claro Intelecto, Gerry Read and Unbroken Dub. The release of the subsequent EPs and boxset will be staggered throughout the rest of the year. These will include efforts from Sawlin, Delta Funktionen, Ross 154 (AKA Newworldaquarium), John Beltran, Conforce, Redshape and Mike Dehnert among others.
