Kashual has enlisted the services of Uncanny Valley artist Scherbe for its debut release.
The new imprint is a DIY affair, with each of the 7-inch vinyls accompanied by handmade leather sleeves, original cover artwork and a mixtape. The latter will feature a podcast from the artist, made up exclusively of original material. Runs will be limited to 150 copies. Scherbe has contributed two tracks to the inaugural outing, which explore the German producer's signature organic take on deep house. "Kashual 001" has been pressed on yellow vinyl and runs inside out. A handcrafted leather keychain in the shape of a shard (Scherbe means shard in German) is also included.
