  • Karocel will release their debut album, Plaited, on Freude am Tanzen this June. The six-piece is formed from the backbone of Marbert Rocel, a live electronic group known for their work on Compost Records. Karocel finds them collaborating with Vakant boss Mathias Kaden and percussionist Michael Nagler. They all gathered in the studio last fall for a series of jam sessions that were eventually ironed out into Plaited's ten tracks—two of which, "This One" and "It's Me," appeared on Karocel's debut EP last month. The group says they didn't use any overdubs or post-production on the record, and they designed their own artwork for the release. Tracklist 01. Don't Play 02. Undo 03. Watts 04. Vox 05. Whiteout 06. Tease You 07. Boyz 08. This One 09. Parallels 10. It's Me Freude am Tanzen will release Plaited on June 24th, 2013.
