  • Reports have come through that US artist Anthony Moore, AKA Romanthony, has died, with the cause yet to be determined. Although no official statement has been released, posts on social media from artists close to Moore, including Boys Noize and Eve Angel, have confirmed the news. "it is so sad," Boyz Noize tweeted late last night. "Romanthony and me were working on such an amzing song together. he said it was the best song he had ever written." "Our Music Industry has lost yet another pioneer and music legend," Daone Remmidy (Eve Angel) posted on Moore's personal Facebook page. "I am deeply saddened to Announce the Passing our my Label Owner, Producer, Manager, and Family. Our Beloved World Renowned DJ and Producer Romanthony has passed away. What a great run we had Roman gave me my first break into the Music Industry and introduced me to the world, as Eve Angel. We were working on an amazing project. I will miss him and he will forever remain in my heart. We had a 20 year stint together and he will never be forgotten." The cause of Moore's death is yet to be determined. Both his Wikipedia and Discogs pages have listed the date of his death as May 7th. Moore was well-known for his work alongside Daft Punk, for whom he recorded vocals on the tracks "One More Time" and "Too Long," and a long line of singles and albums. He began releasing music in the early '90s, and went on to record such classics as "The Wanderer" and "Let Me Show You Love."
