Tiago will release his debut album as TNT Subhead next month.
Tiago Miranda is a central cog in Lisbon's small but thriving dance music scene, alongside artists like Photonz and DJ Marfox. Over the years he's explored everything from disco, krautrock and Balearica to house and techno, with releases on labels like DFA, Italians Do It Better and DJ Kaos's Jolly Jams. He was also once a member of Gala Drop, a band that's appeared on Phil South's Golf Channel imprint, and works under a couple of nautically themed aliases in I-Boat Captain and Sea Power & Change.
Ecstasy & Release sees Miranda revive the TNT Subhead alias after releasing two EPs under the name in 2010 and 2012. As Juno Plus report, the album will be released on May 6th through Portuguese label Groovement, which put out both previous TNT Subhead records.
