- Martin Müller of youANDme will release his debut solo album this summer, with a host of guest vocalists in tow.
youANDme's Martin Müller will release his debut solo album, Behind, this June.
The triple-vinyl LP will see release through Ornaments Music, a label Müller and youANDme partner Daniel Ströter have maintained a close relationship with in recent years. This will be the first (and apparently only) time Müller has used the youAND:THEMACHINES name, though in addition to his work with Ströter, he's previously worked solo as Two_EM and as Dubsuite alongside Holger Flinsch. According to a press release, Behind is a mix of "analogue hardware, field recordings and hidden messages," and contains stylistic nods to dub techno, ambient, Detroit techno and house. It features vocal appearances from Robert Owens, Brothers' Vibe, Bajka, Delhia De France and Keter Darker, as well as a number of live string and piano accompaniments from The Analog Roland Orchestra's Michal Matlak among others.
