- Guy Gerber, Danny Tenaglia, Maya Jane Coles, Caspa and many more will play the Chicago festival in July.

Chicago's Wavefront Music Festival, set to take place July 5th through July 7th, has announced its first wave of artists.
As with last year's inaugural edition, Wavefront will take over Montrose Beach on the Windy City's north side. This year, though, the festival will expand to three full days and move back a week—to the weekend immediately following Independence Day Thursday. The initial lineup of nearly 40 acts already packs quite a punch. Some of the biggest names in the business will be on hand, like Justice (who will DJ), Diplo and Crookers. Dubfire and Sharam, both formerly of Deep Dish, are confirmed, along with beloved NYC DJ Danny Tenaglia, making his first Chicago appearance in more than five years.
Guy Gerber, Benoit & Sergio and Matthew Dear (this time playing live as Audion) will all return after playing last year's festival, as will Visionquest, with the four members—Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss, Shaun Reeves and Ryan Crosson—teaming up for a special Visionquest Thirteen set. Hotflush head Scuba and Stroboscopic Artefacts boss Lucy will each bring their own take on techno to the beach, while Caspa and Rusko are sure to provide plenty of bass. Other highlights include Nicolas Jaar, Maya Jane Coles, Magda, Damian Lazarus and the first US festival appearance of Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Luca C and Ali Love's live band Hot Natured. Check the event pages below for a full listing.
In all, Wavefront will have more than 100 artists billed across four stages. Look out for further additions to the lineup to be revealed soon.
