- Chesters in Berlin will play host to the new event series this weekend.
For Heads Only, a new Berlin-based party, will make its debut this Saturday night.
The night, headed up by Weird Magic and The Irradiance Cache radio show, will be a showcase for house and techno's rougher-hewn, spacier side, with acts from labels like L.I.E.S., Restoration and Workshop lined up for the coming months. For their first event, they've booked a live set from U, an anonymous act who released a ten-inch through George Fitzgerald's ManMakeMusic label last fall. Juniper, the UK-based Smallville signee, will also be on hand for a DJ set, while Irradiance Cache host Aaron Katsnelson rounds out the bill. Chesters, a newly revamped venue in Kreuzberg, will serve as the event's home base.
