D-Edge preps Carnival Parties with Richie Hawtin

- D-Edge has announced details of its parties during Carnival in February. The Sao Paolo nightclub will celebrate Carnival both inside its intimate space and outside. The first two parties will take place at the club on February 7th and 8th. The first is an Innervisions night which will feature label bosses Ame and Dixon along with Henrik Schwarz. The next evening highlights Richie Hawtin for a "Legends" party, and there he'll be joined by a live set from his Minus labelmate Matador. Two days later, on February 10th, D-Edge will join the Rio Music Conference for an event on the Marina De Glória. Hawtin and Matador will again headline, along with sets from Mauricio Lopes and the Kings of Swings, the latter being the collaborative project between club owner Renato Ratier and Max Mau. Last week Brazil was rocked by the deaths of 231 people following a nightclub fire in the country's south.
