- Reboot, Move D and Flashmob have also signed on for the festival's inaugural edition this August.
M.A.N.D.Y. is at the top of the bill for Vertigo Festival, a new three-day event that kicks off in the Italian Alps this August.
Taking place 1500m above sea level at the Ski Jumping Hotel in the Piemontese village of Pragelato, organisers have billed Vertigo as "Europe's highest altitude dance music festival." Though the site is best known for its winter sports (it played host to a number of skiing events during the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin), it promises to provide plenty of natural splendour for festival-goers regardless.
Vertigo's lineup places as much emphasis on labels and "international brands" as on individual artists. DJ T., Smash TV, Betoko and Flashmob will join M.A.N.D.Y.'s Philipp Jung and Patrick Bodmer in representing Get Physical. Reboot will head up the Cadenza contingent, which includes Uner, Michel Cleis and Andrea Oliva. London's Art of Dark party and label will host a showcase featuring DJ W!ld, Hector and residents Jack & I, Colin Chiddle and Charlie Dave Kent. Manchester and Ibiza clubbing institution Sankeys will send regulars Darius Syrossian and Enzo Siragusa, and a Culprit LA showcase will feature Droog, MANIK, Inxec, Lula Circus and Climbers. Alex Niggemann, Hot Since 82, Move D and Finnebassen are among the other artists confirmed.
Vertigo's official website has the full lineup as well as ticket and accommodation information.
