Sonar announces Sonar Reykjavik

- James Blake, Squarepusher, Modeselektor and Gus Gus are among those booked for the festival's first edition in Iceland.
- Sonar will host its first event in Iceland in February of 2013. So far only preliminary details have been revealed for Sonar Reykjavik. The two-day event will take place on four stages for a crowd of up to 3,500 people at the visually striking Harpa concert house. There will be 15 international artists, plus around 30 Icelandic DJs and live acts. Artists announced so far include James Blake, Squarepusher, Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto and Modeselektor. Gus Gus will head up the local contingent. Expect more details in the weeks ahead.
