Jamie Lidell will release a new self-titled album on Warp Records in February.
The new LP takes a very different approach from Lidell's last one, 2010's Compass. While that record was loaded with high profile guest appearances (Beck, Feist, Jose Gonzales et al.), Jamie Lidell is, fittingly, 100% Jamie Lidell. The English artist performed, recorded and produced the whole thing on his own at his new home studio in Nashville. The style of the album is more electronic than usual, though Lidell's brash vocals are still front and center. That's the official trailer below. You can stream the first single, "What A Shame," right here.
