Sounds On Sunday relaunches in October

- The iconic Sydney weekly party will return to The Greenwood Hotel for the summer.
- This October will mark the relaunch of Sydney clubbing institution Sounds On Sunday at The Greenwood Hotel. The weekly Sunday party, which ran throughout the '00s under several different promoters, was a staple for a wide variety of Sydney clubbers until it ended in 2009 after a ten year stint. Its comeback party will use the venue's four separate areas as before, including the large courtyard which serves as the main stage. A number of past Sounds residents will be joining up again, including Sydney mainstays Illya, Matt Roberts and James Taylor (AU), while the side rooms will each represent different styles, with deep house crew Bare Essentials, headed up by Sam Roberts and Carlos Zarate, taking over The Chapel each week. The launch party will take place on October 7th with the aforementioned acts, while Sounds have announced a number of international headliners who will be appearing over the course of the summer, namely Sebastien Leger, Miguel Campbell and Guy J. The gig kicks off at 1:00 PM every Sunday, running through until 10:00 PM.
