- Cocoon will release the German artist's next album in September.
German tech house artist Daniel Stefanik is ready to release a new album on Cocoon next month called Confidence.
Over the past seven years or so, Stefanik has swerved between strict dance floor utility (on labels like Mobilee and Moon Harbour) and more experimental meanderings (mainly on Dambala Experience, his label with Matthias Kretzschmar). Unsurprisingly, his first full-length for Cocoon leans toward the former, with reams of punchy 4/4 beats, though it's not without its moments of reflective ambience. According to a press release, the album follows the arc of a night out clubbing, as suggested by some of the track titles. Confidence is due out in September. All of the songs are previously unreleased.
