  • Jody Wisternoff, one half of UK progressive house duo Way Out West, will tour Australia in August. Wisternoff's extensive career has covered everything from hip-hop turntablism and early rave to nu-disco and techno across more than two decades. He is, however, best known for his partnership Nick Warren, with whom he released four studio albums and a long string 23-inches under the Way Out West banner since the mid-'90s, cementing themselves as one of the most popular acts in progressive house. Wisternoff is no stranger to Australia, with this being his fourth visit in as many years. He's kept busy since his trip out in 2011, releasing his debut solo album, Trails We Blaze, on Anjunadeep in May of this year. The Bristolian will be playing in four cities this time around, with Perth's Geisha being the first stop on August 18th, before playing at Sky Room in Brisbane the following day. The Melbourne party will be hosted by The Breakfast Club at New Guernica on August 24th, with the final show being at Chinese Laundry in Sydney on the 25th.
