  • Denver's second annual Great American Techno Festival will take place over a four-day weekend in September, beginning on Thursday the 13th. GATF will once again be based at venues both indoors and out across the Mile High City's downtown area, with a program devoted to stateside techno talent. Detroit icon Kevin Saunderson and prolific Los Angeles artist John Tejada sit atop the initial lineup, and fellow LA DJs Drumcell and Raiz, of the Droid Behavior crew, are confirmed as well. Rrose, the shadowy producer who recently mixed up a podcast here on RA, and Buffalo's Mike Parker, a longtime purveyor of abstract analog techno, are also on hand. Other highlights so far include Donor, Deepak Sharma and Jason Short. Further information including individual event details are still forthcoming.
