  • More lineups have been announced for RA Horizons events in Vancouver, Portland, Aberdeen and Oslo. As we announced last month, RA Horizons is an events series that aims for cities beyond the usual club circuit. We'll be taking artists to places they rarely (if ever) go, and—in the process—highlight the hard work being done by promoters on a local level. The first three will take place this weekend in China and Japan, all with Levon Vincent headlining. Dutch bass artist and 3024 boss Martyn will headline the next two, taking place in September at Vancouver's Open Studios, where he shares the bill with local hero Max Ulis, and at Portland, Oregon's excellent Holocene venue, where he's joined by melodic techno artist Max Cooper. From there, Horizons heads to Europe for parties in Aberdeen, Scotland and Oslo, Norway. The first is happening at Snafu with Bristol's Julio Bashmore, acclaimed local act Auntie Flo and partner in crime, Esa. Parisian Circoloco staple Dyed Soundorom headlines Jaeger the next night, flanked by Norwegian DJs G-HA, Olanskii, Øyvind Morken, Mattis With, Uraki Riddim and local exports Ost & Kjex. We'll have further details on these in the months ahead, along with info on more Horizons parties in South Africa and Latin America.
