The Toronto promoter's summer bookings include Dixon and Mark E.
Toronto-based promoter Evening Standard has announced its summer parties at The Drake Hotel.
Evening Standard have been running their monthly in Toronto for just over two years (having celebrated their anniversary earlier this month), booking a variety of underground house and techno names like Todd Terje, Axel Boman and others over their history.
Following June's two-year anniversary celebration with Justin Miller, the Evening Standard will enter their summer season with Innervisions boss Dixon on July 5th, for a show put on in collaboration with fellow local promoter Breakandenter. The August instalment will feature Brighton producer and DJ Maxxi Soundsystem, known for his disco-inflected house sound signed to labels like Hot Waves, Needwant, and Futureboogie, on the 17th. Finally, on September 15th, UK disco maestro Mark E will close out Evening Standard's summer series.
For all three shows, the respective headliners will be supported by Evening Standard founders Paul Johnston and Adam Beck under their DJ name MEMBERSONLY. Advance tickets for all three events are available here on RA.
