  • Royal-T and Champion will play two Trouble & Bass parties in the US later this month. Perhaps best known for his early association with the Butterz crew and label, young grime producer Royal-T has been one of the genre's biggest recent successes. He's scored a regular Wednesday night slot on infamous radio station Rinse FM as well as a record deal with their label branch, with an album still forthcoming on the label. Champion is another Londoner, known for a brand of UK Funky that occasionally dips into grime-friendly territory, which he's showcased over releases for Butterz, Terror Danjah's Hardrive and Roska Kicks & Snares. Both UK DJs will finally touch down in the US for two Trouble & Bass parties in late June. The first will take place in Philadelphia on June 21st at The Barbary, also featuring Philly local, Seclusiasis founder and Starkey associate Dev79, plus Trouble & Bass residents Star Eyes and The Captain. The New York date, landing on the next night at a loft on 70 N. 6th Street, will feature the same lineup minus Dev79.
