  • Sydney-based management and touring company Astral People will be putting on their first international tour next month, with Ghostly International's Mux Mool making his Australian debut. Astral People has grown rapidly since its genesis in 2011, taking on board a number of new Australian acts including Jonti, Dro Carey and Albatross. Their involvement with the younger generation of electronic musicians spills over onto the events front, with the crew having presented shows featuring the likes of Blawan and Pariah, Lapalux and Balam Acab. American producer Brian Lindgren AKA Mux Mool's visit will mark their first foray into international touring. His releases on Ghostly International, including two albums, land somewhere between IDM and hip-hop, aligning with the label's eclectic style as well as Astral's highly contemporary focus. The Mux Mool tour will take place over four consecutive days in four different cities. The Sydney party is first up on June 13th, where Astral People will host the show at Goodgod Small Club from 8:00 PM. Brisbane will get their turn on the 14th at Bar Soma, followed by a SideWalk show at Adelaide's Cuckoo Bar on the 15th. The final gig will be on June 16th at Laundry Bar in Melbourne.
