- The next compilation on Chris Liebing's label features label stalwarts like Tommy Four Seven and Joseph Capriati.
Berlin-based artist DJ Emerson has mixed the next compilation on CLR, Reconnected 2, due for release in June.
DJ Emerson might seem an odd choice for CLR's mix series—the Berlin-based techno artist runs two labels of his own, Kiddaz.fm and Micro.fon, and has appeared on Chris Liebing's imprint only once, when Monoloc included his remixes of Tommy Four Seven on the first edition of Reconnected. That said, he's clearly very familiar with CLR's music: Reconnected 2 draws almost exclusively from the Frankfurt institution's back catalog, with selections from the likes of Joseph Capriati, Monoloc, Lucy and Xhin. The mix includes a number of previously unreleased tracks as well, including three new ones from Emerson himself. It will be available digitally and on CD.
