  • Andrez Bergen, AKA Little Nobody, will headline the first party in a new series run by IF? Records at One22 on May 26th. Established in Melbourne in '95 by Bergen himself, the label's catalogue now runs more than 130 releases deep, featuring a wide range of local techno talent, with acts like Pnau, Craig McWhinney and Dopamine among others. The operation followed Bergen to Tokyo in 2001, before returning to Australia to be run by Sydney producer Sebastian Bayne from 2010 onward. Since making the move back south, Bayne has worked towards launching Soundwerks as a means to showcase quality Sydney and Melbourne artists, whether popular or lesser known. Each party will be accompanied by an exclusive digital release of new material featuring each of the acts performing on the night. The first event will mark Little Nobody's first set in Australia since 2002. Also on the bill are two live acts, Koda from Melbourne and local artist Biz-E, as well as Defined By Rhythm and current label boss Sebastian Bayne. All five of the billed acts will be contributing a track to Soundwerks Vol. 1, the party's corresponding release. Tickets are available here on RA.
