- The compilation will be available this month (mixed or unmixed) on Sasse's Moodmusic label.
A new compilation called James Flavour & Sasse present Station will come out on Moodmusic this month.
If it's not obvious from the title, the collection is put together by Flavour, one of the minds behind Dirt Crew Recordings, and Moodmusic boss Sasse. The two Berlin-based artists have a history of collaborating in the studio and DJing together at Berlin clubs like Panorama Bar and Cookies. With Station, they've got a specific sound in mind: "the golden years of US house from '92 to '97." The compilation includes new and old material from, among others, Moodmusic artists Freestyle Man, Phonogenic and the brothers Adham and Hisham Zahran, and relative newcomers to the label like Alland Byallo and Re-Light. Sasse and Flavour's "Henry Street" also makes an appearance, along with a bonus solo track from Sasse. The compilation will be available via digital download only, in mixed and un-mixed formats.
