  • London promoters HOLIC will launch a new record label next month called HOLIC TRAX. HOLIC is the brainchild Tomoki Tamura, a Japanese DJ and producer who's been a fixture of London's club scene since he moved there in 2004. The parties have taken place regularly for the past five years or so, booking underground house and techno artists at intimate spots around the city. The first EP on HOLIC TRAX comes from the perennial Colin McBean, AKA Mr. G, who serves up several cuts of meaty and soulful house on the fittingly entitled Danceholics EP. The record will be available digitally and on "creamy white" 10-inch vinyl. If you're in London, the next HOLIC event is happening this weekend at Cafe 1001. The night is a collaboration with Adam Marshall's label, New Kanada, and features Tamura, The Mole and Marshall playing live. Tickets are available here on RA. Tracklist 01. Don't Ever Give Up 02.
