  • Patrick Buck of Kaiserdisco is booked to play shows in Australia this coming June. Buck and musical partner Frederic Berger have been very prolific since they first teamed up in 2008, releasing close to two dozen EPs and one album in that short period. The bulk of their catalogue, including the LP, has been released on Triple R's My Best Friend imprint, with several other records popping up on Drumcode, the Swedish label run by techno icon Adam Beyer. So far this year, the duo have made contributions to both labels—one record apiece—as well as growing their own freshly established imprint, "KD Music", with tracks from artists like Oliver Klein & Kolombo. Their touring schedule is no less intense, with the pair managing to cover 18 countries in 2011 alone. This will, however, be Kaiserdisco's first appearance in Australia. The tour begins in Adelaide on June 8th, where Buck will play a Tech-Phonics party at a venue yet to be determined. The following night he will visit Sydney to play at One22, before capping off their trip with a day rave at Melbourne club Brown Alley on June 10th, which will also feature German techno veteran Chris Liebing. Tickets to the Melbourne show can be purchased here on RA.
