- The Berlin techno artist will release his next album through his own label in June.
The 25th release on Berlin's Fachwerk Records is an album by label founder Mike Dehnert, simply called Fachwerk 25.
Dehnert launched Fachwerk in 2007. Since then the label has pumped out a steady stream of tough and atmospheric techno EPs, featuring no one other than himself and his two childhood friends, Roman Lindau and Sascha Rydell. He's released a whopping seven albums in the meantime, the most recent of which, Framework, came out on Delsin barely a year ago. According to Clone, who are distributing the album, Fachwerk 25 isn't quite as functional as it sounds: Dehnert intersperses his usual no-nonsense techno with bits of ambience and sound design, showing, as they put it, "some concession to the album format." Fachwerk 25 will be available in June digitally and as a double-vinyl pack.
