  • Berlin-based house and techno man Cesare vs Disorder will headline Subsonic's first party of 2012 at Goodgod Small Club on Saturday the 21st of January. Originally from Italy, Cesare has spent recent years in London and Berlin running two record labels, Mean and Serialism, in addition to DJing and producing. Although a portion of his original releases have been through Mean, the majority of his output has been on a range of German labels like Vakant, Clink Recordings and Dumb-Unit. Since his last Australian visit, Cesare has gained a residency at popular Berlin club KaterHolzig (replacement to the infamous and now defunct Bar25), he has performed at the esteemed Detroit Electronic Music Festival as well as Sonar in Barcelona, and he has released more than half a dozen original records including "Massive Attack", a collaboration with Mikael Stavöstrand which was included on Damian Lazarus' Get Lost Vol. 4 compilation on Crosstown Rebels. His debut album is scheduled for release later this year. The show at Goodgod will be co-presented by local promoters Techno Tuesday and will also feature Brazilian DJ Anna Leevia on the decks. Support will be provided by Sydney acts Glitch DJs, Chris Honnery and MSG featuring Marcotix. Doors open at 10:00 PM and tickets are available through RA.
