The Desolat duo will team up for a set of gigs over the next two weekends.
tINI and Guti will head stateside for two weekends of parties beginning on Friday.
For most of the past decade Guti, a former rock musician hailing from Argentina, has been putting out tracks and collaborating with the likes of Shaun Reeves and Davide Squillace, while the Munich native tINI has mainly focused on DJing. Both linked up with Desolat, Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich's label, a few years ago, and each artist's debut LP (Guti's Patio De Juegos and tINI's Tessa) was released on Desolat in 2011.
Fresh from a label showcase in BPM in Mexico last weekend, tINI will DJ and Guti will play live at four parties in North America, beginning Thursday in San Francisco. Then they'll head to Chicago (where they'll play with Jamie Jones), Miami and New York together before splitting ways next Saturday: tINI will head to Toronto, while Guti will share a Detroit bill with Norm Talley.
