  • The Spice Cellar, a new venue located in at Sydney's Martin Place, is scheduled to officially open its doors this weekend. The Elizabeth St venue is the combination of a lounge bar and a club. Its main floor is situated six metres below street level in the basement floor of the 11-story Overseas Union Bank. Helmed by the team behind Reckless Republic—which includes DJ and producer Murat Kilic—the club is scheduled to play host to a hefty batch of international guests in the coming months, with Anthony 'Shake' Shakir and Burnski both locked in before the year's end. Reckless Republic's long-running weekly after hours, held on Sundays, will shift to the club. The official launch will take place this Sunday October 4th, and will be headlined by German deep house artist Vincenzo. Simon Caldwell and Kilic will be spinning in support, taking the party right through to 4:00 AM, after which a special public holiday edition of Spice will kick off.
