The four-day event will host workshops and club nights as part of Berlin Music Week.
CTM, otherwise known as the Festival for Adventurous Music and Related Arts, will touch down in Berlin this September, bringing with it the ICAS (International Cities of Advanced Sound) Suite, a series of workshops and parties with an emphasis on experimental electronic music.
Essentially, ICAS is a coalition between roughly 30 organizations from around the world. In their own words, they "joined forces to co-create projects and foster discourse" and, in turn, promote artistic development amongst the international electronic music community. This year, ICAS Suite will take place over four days throughout Berlin Music Week in early September, with members of the organizations involved scheduled to present selections of their work, as well as highlighting some of the musical talent in their respective areas. In addition to these kinds of "sit-down" events, there are a number of club nights scheduled, with the likes of Peter Van Hoesen, Cosmin TRG and Kassem Mosse set to play throughout the weekend.
It's all set to get underway with a midweek party on September 7th, and go right through to the following Saturday evening.
