  • Hercules & Love Affair head the bill at A Nation of Shopkeepers on August 7th. The band will play outdoors in the courtyard at the seminal Leeds venue on the first Sunday of next month. Andy Butler and co will showcase songs from their latest album, the house and electro influenced Blue Songs, which came out in January of this year. The night will provide a rare opportunity to see the group live in an intimate environment: the venue's capacity will be limited to 450 on the day, and concludes the band's brief stint in the UK as part of their global festival tour. Hercules and Love Affair will be supported on the outside stage, which runs from 19:00 until 23:00, by Miguel Campbell and M.A.M of the local label Outcross, as well as Cosmic Boogie's Paul Metcalfe. The indoor acts, which get started at 18:00 and finish at 01:00, include Filth resident Luke Pompey, Alcatraz Harry of the Nest and Escapism Musique’s Jamie Adams. Tickets to Hercules & Love Affair at Nation Of Shopkeepers are available here on RA.
