  • The sixth edition of Dutch one-dayer Loveland returns to Sloterpark on Saturday 13th August. Although the festival has only been going since 2005, Loveland has been a part of the city's club culture for over 15 years, proliferating its calendar with a range of events and festivals, including its annual free party during Queen's Day. For their summer event this year the programming has taken on a slightly more structured approach with its usual six stages falling under an overarching house or techno umbrella. While Loveland's Techno State is a truly international affair, pooling together some of the biggest names in the field from across the globe, the house bill consists primarily of homegrown talent including the electro-leaning Fedde Le Grand, Rush Hour's Tom Trago and the 22 year old Hardwell, who launched his own Revealed Recordings imprint at the beginning of last year. Elsewhere Panorama regular Cassy joins Dubfire, Marco Carola, Sebastien Leger, Sven Vath and Carl Craig on the heavyweight Fire stage, with the likes of Butch, Cobblestone Jazz cohort Mathew Jonson and Detroit's Stacey Pullen—a Loveland frequenter—populating the other tech arenas. The 13 hour rave will kick off at 10 AM and be brought to a close with a Loveland standard firework display.
