  • Detroit icon Stacey Pullen will head to New York this weekend to headline two non-profit events. While Pullen's production catalog has stayed relatively sparse over the past two decades, he continues to be in demand behind the decks, with these New York appearances taking place in between gigs across Europe. Hosting the festivities is Frolic, a local volunteer organization whose mission is "to bring together people of all ages to experience electronic music in a clean, positive, open-air setting." Saturday is their 10th anniversary, and to mark the occasion they're throwing a free afternoon event in Central Park followed by a late-night party at Bar 13. Joining Pullen at both events are Stadenco and Wolf+Lamb artist Le loup. Spinoza, founder of the Bunker, rounds out the bill at Central Park along with an opening performance by Da' Riddim iNya drum essemble, while Connie and Michelangelo lend support for the Frolic Into The Night. All proceeds from the parties will go to support local arts and music programs for children.
