Zoo Project plots summer parties, starts label

- The three-pronged Ibiza series will host Ryan Elliott, Benoit & Sergio, Julio Bashmore, DJ Sneak and many others this season.
- The Zoo Project have outlined their program for summer of 2011, and unveiled details for their new record label. The Ibiza party began in 2007 as a weekly event at Gala Night, a former zoo in Benimussa Hills. Since then it's expanded into a three-part series: Channel Zoo takes over Gala Night on Wednesdays, and on Saturdays the party carries on at Privilege with Saturday Night Project (or SNP). In terms of programming, all three events offer an underground alternative to many of the island's glitzier parties, something that's set to continue this summer, with the likes of Margaret Dygas, Kate Simko, Soul Clap, Benoit & Sergio, Julio Bashmore and dozens of others booked at more than 30 parties between now and the end of September. Channel Zoo will throw its opening party tonight with a four-hour set from Ostgut Ton artist Ryan Elliott. Meanwhile, Channel Zoo also has a new record label in the works. Scheduled to drop next month, the first release will come from UK DJ and producer Michael James. You can see the video for that one below.
